I’m so happy to be blogging Ana and Gus’s maternity session! these Corona maternity photos were photographed during sunset and the light was absolutely perfect! Ana contacted me when she was 29 weeks pregnant. I knew that we had to schedule her in right away. I always recommend that all of my maternity clients schedule 4-6 months in advance. It is always best that you have your maternity session during your 29-33 weeks of pregnancy.
As soon as Ana contacted me she booked! what a dream client (: she was on bedrest for most of her pregnancy so when her doctor gave her the okay to take maternity photos she was all over it! I’m so happy she found me on Instagram. Immediately after she booked we began the hunt for her maternity dresses. I don’t require my clients to have two dresses/outfits but I always recommend more than one dress. Why? you may ask..because I think it’s a great way to add variety into your gallery. I also use locations where we can hop in the car and drive for a few minutes and the scenery changes. That’s when my clients change into their second dress and it just adds a lot of variety to your final gallery. My clients love that I do this (:
Ana found the perfect fall burnt orange dress which was perfect for an October sunset maternity session! she then decided she wanted a lighter more pastel color and found the most beautiful light mint colored dress.
Her husband Gus mentioned to me during our session that he wasn’t much of a pictures guy and it’s something I always hear from the guys. I reassured him that it’s normal and that I would make sure he felt comfortable during the session just as much as Ana. The result is beautiful!
