I’m so excited to be publishing this BEAUTIFUL San Diego engagement session that took place at Balboa Park. This day was so much fun! I haven’t been to this location since last summer so it was nice to be back for another engagement session. I typically only schedule sessions during the week to avoid crowded locations. But looking at these photos.. you’d NEVER know there were a million people at this park because it was a Saturday.
Brian and Leslie have been together for about a decade now. He proposed to her near the water in San Diego last year, so I encouraged them to choose a location in San Diego for their engagement session!
As your photographer it is my job to make sure you feel 100% comfortable during your engagement session regardless of all the eyes on you, because I mean you’re in public and you look amazing! Leslie let me know ahead of time that Brian is a little more on the shy side so I made sure to check on him during our session as much as possible.
We first worked our way through the Alcazar Garden. I love starting here first because there’s beautiful architecture, greenery, and flowers. We then walked over to Museum of Man and took a couple of portraits outside of this beautiful building! we kept working our way around the park and ended their session at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion.
Choosing Balboa Park for your engagement session is such a great idea. This iconic location has a lot to offer from manicured gardens, beautiful architecture, different cafes, tons of florals and much more!
